    Q. What type of security does your complex provide?
    A. We have 24 Hours monitored security service. We also have CCTV recording 24 hours a day.
     
     
    Q. Do I need insurance?
    A. While your items are in storage they are not covered byThe Attic Self Storage for loss or damage. We strongly recommend that all customers take advantage of the insurance option offered byThe Attic Self Storage. Do not assume any existing policy will automatically cover your items in storage. Check with your insurance agent regarding policy coverages.
     
     
    Q. What items cannot be stored?
    A. You cannot store any hazardous, toxic, illegal, or perishable items. Examples of items that cannot be stored are: Ammunitions, gasoline, paint, paint thinner, food, produce, plants, fireworks, etc.
     
     
    Q. What are your methods of payment?
    A. You may pay by MasterCard, VISA, Cash, Cheque, and Direct Deposit. We also have Eftpos facility.
     
     
    Q. When is my rent due?
    A. Rent is due in advance, on your anniversary date. For example, if you originally rented your space on April 13, your monthly rent will be due on 13th of each month.
     
     
    Q. What tips do I need to know to pack my items for storage?
    1. Wrap glass and other breakable items in bubble wrap, paper pads, or quilts.
    2. Use the height of the space to maximise the cubic feet by standing large pieces of furniture on end and/or on top of each other. Do this only if the furniture is safe and securely placed.
    3. Be sure to use paper pads or cloth to protect furniture from scratches.
    4. Store heavier items on the bottom and light items on the top.
    5. Label your boxes on three sides to save from having to move them around to find the contents.
    6. It is a good idea to maintain a written inventory.
    7. Leave fridge door ajar.


     
     
    Q. What type of deposits/fees do you charge?

    A. We charge a deposit of $100 for most unit sizes. Bond and Rental Credits are refundable on meeting Conditions of Self Storage Agreement.
     
     
    Q. Does your self storage complex offer after hours access?
    A.Yes, 4am to 10pm (small additional charge).
     
     
    Q. Do I need to provide a lock?
    A. Yes, we sell them on-site or you may bring your own.
     
     
    Q. Can I store a vehicle?
    A. Yes.
     
     
    Q. Do I have to rent for a certain number of months?
    A. No, your lease is on a month-to-month basis, with a minimum of one month.
     
     
    Q. Does your self storage complex provide pest control?

    A. Yes.
     
     
    Q. Does your self storage complex sell packing materials?

    A. Yes.

    A. Yes, and it is free to use.
